SCA Certificate – Green Coffee (Foundation) ($3000)

This course covers the key concepts surrounding green coffee, from growing the plant, through processing, shipping, storage and arrival at a roaster. It includes an introduction to cupping and coffee grading;

Pre-Requisites:

• It is recommended that the following CSP courses are designated as pre-requisites to this CSP module Green Coffee Foundation Level:
  1. Introduction to Coffee
  2. Sensory Foundation

The reason for recommending the ‘Sensory Foundation’ module as a pre-requisite is because there is a practical cupping in the examination and candidates will be more familiar with standard cupping protocol if the advice is followed.

The course fee includes 1 written exam.
Successful students will be awarded the SCA Green Coffee Foundation Certificate.
