 aristas who have completed Intermediate level. Ideal for Head Baristas loo
 king to provide in house training or to start competing at a professional 
 level.\nCandidates should have completed and PASSED Barista Intermediate m
 odule before attend this course.\n\nThis advanced course provides advanced
  practical application of espresso theory. Using refractometry we explore 
 the science of espresso preparation. We examine machine technology and how
  it interacts with optimal extraction. We give you training in water chemi
 stry and maintenance using the langlier index. You will learn how to score
  your espresso to competition standard for the best taste balance\, flavou
 rs and texture.\n\nThe course provides you with the key information to ena
 ble you to sit your Barista Skills Professional certification that consist
 s of 4 practical tests and a written exam (35 questions with a pass rate o
 f 80% required). Successful students will be awarded 25 points towards the
  SCAE Coffee Diploma.\n\nCourse Content Includes:\n\n- The science and eva
