DESCRIPTION:\n\nSpeciality Coffee Association (SCA) – Brewing (Intermedia
 te)\n\n\nDesigned to introduce the intermediate into the core skills and e
 quipment required to produce great brewed coffee and understand how to cha
 rt different brew styles. Ideally\, candidates should hold a general under
 standing of brewing and grinder coffee for all brewing methods.\n\nIntro t
 o Coffee and Brewing Foundation are recommended (but not mandatory) pre-re
 quisite modules.\n\nThe course provides you with the key information to en
 able you to sit for your Brewing Intermediate certification\, which consis
 ts of 7 short practical tests and a written exam (pass rate of 70% require
 d).\nSuccessful students will be awarded towards the SCA Coffee Skills Pro
 gram.\n\nCourse Content Includes:\n\n- Elementary aspects of coffee grindi
 ng\n- Effects of roasting on the coffee bean\n- Brewing process\n- Brewing
